Yesterday was National Flash Fiction Day in the UK, and to celebrate it Flash Flood: The National Flash Fiction Day Journal published a new piece of flash fiction every 10 minutes for 24 hours; 144 stories in all in a, well, flood, of flash fiction.
It's one of my few stories that isn't slightly surreal or irreal in some way, but I still like it nonetheless.
It is called "Marks on a Page" and can be found here.
